Many people thinks they know how to sing but ,in reality, most of them need singing help. You can judge by listening to any Karaoke contest. You will know immediately that some contestants don’t really know how to sing correctly. If you happen to be one of them, this singing tips might be able to help you.
1. Learn to control your breath
You may not know that the right breathing can affect quality of your voice. Imagine that your body is like one big musical instrument. Air flowing from your lung to your mouth will produce the sound for this instrument. You can play your instrument beautifully through your breathing.
You can practice breathing by do following exercise each day. Start by laying down your body on flat surface. Breath air into your lung until you feel that the lung touches the chest then release the air. Do it until you can do this breathing naturally when singing
2. Know your voice
Even we have same system of breathing. We are all different. Our bone structure or sex can make our voice different from others. You should learn which song is right for you. Most male will have tenor voice and most female can sing notes in a higher level because they have soprano voice.
3. Relax
This might be the most important singing help that I can offer. Singing is just like anything in life. The most perfect form usually comes naturally. The more you force your body to sing in the song your don’t like or the notes you are not accustomed to, the worse singing you will have.
Try to be relax. Release your shoulder and muscle to natural pose. You will be able to breath better and produce more powerful voice from your diaphragm.
4. Practice
Singing is like muscle building. If you don’t do it often enough, your performance will be come worsen everyday. Try to singing as much as you can. You can set some free time each day for singing with yourself or you can do it in your free time.
If you think about it, you have a lot of free time in your life. You can sing when you are waiting for your bus or cooking at your home. Make sure that you enjoy every moment of singing. After all, singing should be fun.
